With Christmas quickly approaching now, we are in the last
month of the year its time to start getting our imaginative thinking heads on
if you already haven’t already! This year I’m going to be doing various different
DIY blog posts bringing you all ideas on how to spruce up your home/ room this Christmas!
For once I want to do something a little different to my room this year and I always
think that DIY crafts have a little more of a personal element to them and not only
this but if you're wanting to do Christmas on a little bit of a budget this year then DIY
gifts are always a great idea for Christmas gifts.

I was scrolling through pin it the other night and came
across this great idea of Christmas Jars. Honestly these things are so so
easy to make and look dead effective and you could place this within any room
within your house.
What you’ll need
1)
First off you’ll need a typical mason jar which you can either buy
online or at a craft store ie- the range. It’s probably best to get the mason
jar first before you buy anything else, as you’ll want to make sure your
happy with the size of it.
2)
Once upon
buying your mason jar it’s time to start getting creative as you’ll want to
decide on what your wanting to put in your jar, perhaps some fake snow, a little Christmas tree, and maybe even a reindeer (obviously not a real one! ). There’s
so many ways to make the Christmas Jars personal but if I was going to make one I’d consider
getting one of them small Christmas trees that light up as that would look
really pretty inside the jar.
3)
Once the inside of the Christmas jar is complete you
can always opt to decorate the outside of it. Maybe a few Christmas snowflakes, and some pretty white or even sliver ribbon to go round the lid.
