MAC Rebel Lipstick Review


When my dad went on holiday to New York I asked him to bring me back a few things and one of those things was the MAC Rebel lipstick.  When I first saw this colour in Debenhams i immediately thought of autumn and winter as this colour is a nice dark plum. I actually felt a little apprehensive when asking my dad to bring me back this shade as I thought that it might look too much when it’s on my lips as it really is a striking colour!  Anyway he brought it me back and I absolutely love it! It is very striking and it defiantly stands out but that’s what I love about it as it’s really bold and it’s almost like a fashion statement.

The lipstick has a really nice creamy texture too it as it is a satin finish rather than a matte. The lipstick is a long lasting wear which is one of the things I love about Mac. If you have seen my recent YouTube video you will of heard me say that I often use things such as lip coat to help keep my lipstick on for longer however with Mac lipstick it doesn't really matter whether you use lip coat or not because Mac lipstick last’s on your lips for a really long time!

I haven’t bought a lip liner to go with this colour yet as I haven’t got round too it but it's definitely on my list.

    i've always wanted to try this lipstick but feared it was too pink for me.

      This colour would look great on you vanessa, i always find it hard finding a colour that works well on darker skin and this one looks really look! You should definitely give it a go x x
