After hearing so much about MUA products I finally decided to give it a try by starting off with one of their Matte Lipsticks. For those of you that don't know about MUA, it is a drug store product (meaning you can find it in Boots/Super Drug etc). The lipstick cost £1.00 and for that price I thought why not give it ago?
The lipstick is in shade 11 and is a baby pink. Personally I don’t often go for colours like this because they usually don’t suit my skin tone but when I swatched the colour on my wrist it didn’t look too bad.
So would I buy MUA again?
I wouldn’t actually buy another one of their lipsticks
again. For £1.00 I think it’s a good buy but with that being said I don’t like
the feel of the lipstick once it’s on. To me, it felt very glossy and oily. I
just didn’t like the texture at all. Maybe it’s just me who feels that way! On a whole I’d give MUA 2 out of 5 stars!
Has anyone else tried any MUA products? What do you think of their lipstick range?
I agree MUA lippies don't have a great finish, colour payout or lasting power. I swear by their eye pencils and eyeshadow palettes though. Great value for money. Xx www.tashpantz.blogspot.co.uk
ReplyDeleteThanks for this review Jess. I have noticed MUA at boots but never got round to try it out :)

No worries Hun, yeah I wouldn't bother trying the lipstick but their eye shadow palettes are meant to be good! x
DeleteHiya sweetheart! I totally understand, it's a bit challenging for me already;p hihi.
ReplyDeleteWould love to do another tag, I shall look around and let you know if I find any fun ones, let me know as well if you have any ideas:)
I have a lot of MUA products, I just had to try it out. I find some of their lipsticks quite alright. But I prefer other ones. I have one eyeshadow palette and I love it. Some of their single pressed eyeshadows are also highly pigmented and blendable (the shimmer ones). I'm not crazy about the brand, but it's ok thinking about their pricetags..:) xx
Thanks for the review.. even though I haven't tried out their lipsticks :)

I have 1 lipstick from MUA. I love the colour but they are a little too 'slip and slidey' and oily, I agree. But their eyeshadow palettes really are great, so pigmented and nice to wear. I have 2!
